These are a few of my favourite things

Whee! I was tagged by KittyCat! Well ok, she tagged me while I was still on my old blog, and its testament to my busy-ness and poor memory, that I forgot about this one. So, while I remember, I’m doing this tag for her on my new home!

I’m not quite sure how many we are supposed to list but here are some of my favourite things, in no particular order:

• Coffee - I love coffee. I love the smell of coffee… I love the taste of coffee… I love coffee! I also really need a cup of good strong coffee in the mornings or I’ll be a walking zombie the whole day - proof of that this week. I sat through a meeting without absorbing anything but threatening to fall asleep at any second. Bad when you need to take lots of notes! So yes, I need and love coffee.
• Reading - I’ve been an avid reader for years. Ever since I was a wee kid who used to read under the covers or get up at the crack of dawn to read in bed before the day (and school or tuition classes started). I got into a lot of trouble at school once, not for being naughty, but for reading story books under the table when I should be listening to the teacher. My reading has now branched from paperbacks to blogs. But I still like my hard copies - they don’t strain my eyes like electronic copies.
• Writing - I’m new to blogging but not to writing. I used to write little short stories before this. Then somehow, I stopped. Starting to blog is one of the best things that’s happened to me in the past year. Its put me back in touch with my creative side.
• Handbags - I’m female ergo I need a bag for every occassion under the sun… or so I tell myself. I have a fortune in handbags sitting in my closet and keep itching to buy more. I’ve gone the whole hog - high end to low end. And still, more more more!
• Makeup - How many lipsticks, eyeshadows and blushes does a girl need? Honestly, just 1. How many does she WANT is the question. Answer - infinite. Is there any wonder I have a beauty blog? LOL….
• Massages - I need to relax…  nuff said!
• Food - I don’t eat very much, but I like my food and trying new stuff. So although many people think I don’t do grubby little sidelane hawker stalls on a hot afternoon, I’m pretty much game so long as the food is good.
• Techie things - I’m good with my hands and with figuring out how things work, I’m proud to say. Yes I can program a video to record and I can stay up to date with technological advances, if I’m keen. I can jabber away to my regular computer guy at Low Yat Plaza and understand the techie jargon. Best of all, I enjoy it!
• Sci-fi and Fantasy - Yes, I’m a nerd
