I don’t share an internet line with the office. Well, not technically.
I subscribed to Streamyx’s limited use line of 60 hours per month for RM44 because I’m a miser. For the office, I subscribed for the unlimited use for RM66 per month. So, when I get home after work, I log in with my office ID. Heh…
Anyway, last night, I left my modem/router on, and forgot to turn it off when I went to bed. This morning, when I got to the office, I was shocked to see I couldn’t log into the internet! I tried multiple times before twigging that it was probably because IÂ had left my modem on at home! Silly me, I didn’t think of using my personal line to log in, so I endured a day without going online.
It wasn’t too bad actually. I got a lot of work done and cleared up some mess and got a system up and working. All in all, it was a pretty profitable day. I think I’ll take some of these “off days” once in a while. At least I get work done.
