For a single woman, you have to learn to fend for yourself, especially at home. So, I have taught myself to:
- work electronic items
- change light bulbs
- set up a wireless network
- take out the trash (haha!)
But one thing I still can’t handle, that reminds me why I need a man in the house:
- I need a man to help open bottle covers!
Yesterday, sis and I were struggling to open a new bottle of orange juice. Twist as we might, the top wouldn’t budge. So, yes. We need a man in the house.

A bed is a better place to have a man. ok, maybe after he opened that bottle for you.

Ah Pek:
Get a bottle opener or those canister opener from the supermarket..there is a tool for tat..
Sometimes not even a man can open with the bare hands …
Can try to heat the cap to loosen and use a cloth for better grip….
Or grip the cap with the door (like a clamp/vice ,one person holding the bottle )and ask another person to twist the bottle..
