Blogging and money

I’ve been looking at blogs outside my usual sphere of blog-haunts lately, and have noticed a refreshingly simple site, that is just simply, a blog - an online journal - a personal home on the internet. Mostly posts and pictures, tables of links and that’s it. No ads, no paid posts, no paid reviews.

Its refreshing. I want mine to be like that too.

However, I have to confess that I am, unfortunately, not as disciplined about not jumping on the blogging and money bandwagon as I’d like. Somehow, the allure of money is too strong. That, and the challenge of writing a paid preview but making it look “natural”. Who am I kidding? It’ll never look natural nor fit into my usual style. Anything I try to do will just make it look contrived.

I just set my own domain up a short while ago. For now, its too new for me to write paid posts on, so everyone reading this can be assured that for the coming 3 months, everything written here will purely unsponsored drivel. I cannot promise that this untainted virgin status will continue. I’ll have to see where I am in 3 month’s time.

Nice template, btw. Very clean :P (although for the individual post links, the Google Ads are blocking your post partially)
