5 things you didn’t know about Paris Beaverbanks

by ParisB on March 19, 2007

5xmom told us 5 things we didn’t know about 5xmom and then tagged me! What an honour! Thanks, Lilian. I did this tag before but as Lilian says, who cares!

So now, I have to tell you 5 things about Paris Beaverbanks you didn’t know and probably don’t really want to know… but will know anyway!

  1. Paris B doesn’t eat chocolate. Don’t ask me why, but chocolate doesn’t tempt me one bit. Crisps or keropok… now that’s a totally different kettle of fish altogether! You can’t keep me away from them.
  2. Paris B is a Mandarin phobe. My brain freezes up when I am faced with having to speak Mandarin. I blame it on lousy biased bigoted prejudiced Mandarin POL (pupil’s own language) teachers in primary school. Its a scar from the past I’m still trying to get over every day.
  3. Paris B doesn’t wear a watch. I tell time by looking at the sun or by the rumblings of my tummy. If all else fail, I use the clock on my handphone.
  4. Paris B cannot stand on one leg. This is crucial only if you do yoga or are faced with a life-threatening situation involving you having to stand on one leg – I cannot think of it ever happening, but if it does, I’m dead. Sis says I have weak core muscles. I blame it on an inner ear imbalance that’s never been medically diagnosed.
  5. Paris B loves books by Terry Pratchett and Bill Bryson. I’m on a mission to collect all the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett and I have (nearly) all Bill Bryson’s books. All excellant reading material which I have read and re-read many times – testament to great books. And I’m happy to boast to anyone who’d care, that I’ve met Terry Pratchett, and have an autographed copy of “Interesting Times”! That was yet another thing you didn’t know about me!

Yay! That was fun! I’m going to spread this virus a bit further afield, so I’m tagging more new friends Sesame, Doris and Beetrice. Now, tell us something we don’t know… go on then! :)

I am not a chocolate fan either. Same here, I am a Keropok Queen also. *High five*

I too am a banana. Though I would love to be otherwise. Sigh..

It’s great that you are redoing this meme again… know I get to know you a little better *peace*

Boy, do I remember the Do Not Eat Chocolate incident. I think about you each time I see Top Monkey eat a huge bar of Cadbury’s, the jumbo type.
