Its one of those days

Proceed with caution - you’ve been warned.

I’ve lost my fluffy mood and have descended into the abyss of gloom and darkness - all in the space of 1 hour. This is one of those days when I wish that things were not what they are. The overcast morning sky must have been a harbinger of things to come, for this is what today is - gloomy.

Anyway, without getting into detail, I just found out that I spent the last 10 years or so, slaving for nothing - literally. Even peanuts would be a great payback, but nope. Not even peanuts this time. Maybe some crumbs or dust would be a better description.

I was disappointed when I found out, yes. Who wouldn’t be? The combative side of me thought to fight it out for what is rightfully mine. To upgrade from crumbs to peanuts.

But its still peanuts right? Not oranges or grapefruits or watermelons. Still peanuts.

So I figured, why bother? Why go through all that heartache and stress. This is what I sought greener pastures for, right? This is why I jumped off the lilypad (for those who read my earlier story about 3 frogs). So, I’m going to take whatever crumbs get thrown my way and I’m going to blow it all on shopping. Yes, I’m going to be a woman and do what a woman does best - spend money…. and lots of it! haha…

I don’t feel much better, but buying new things sure will!

Incidentally, my computer at home died yesterday. It flashed me a blue screen and told me something wasn’t bootable or something to that effect. I’m no tech-geek so it was off to Low Yat Plaza to buy a new computer today, and I’ll pick it up tomorrow. I even got proper legal software! *proud* hehe…

And finally, for my buddy Cheesey Poo and her Top Monkey (I know you are reading this!! ) here’s a reminder of Bonny Scotland! Damn I miss that place! Can I go along for the English wedding ah?
