I don’t have a dog, but I used to. Her name was Dinky because she was small and cute and well, dinky! She was a spitz mixed mongrel and the runt of the litter, but was a really adorable ball of white fluff and had character. She is the only dog I know, who can look at you from her corner of her eye when she gets into her sulky moods. In short, Dinky was a typical female hehe…
Dinky now stays with a dog-lover friend because I couldn’t keep her - my work hours were too long and unpredictable at the time. I didn’t want to keep her cooped up in dog kennels for she was so miserable when I tried to keep her locked up. In the end, I decided to give her up and she is so much happier now that she has a whole garden to run around in!
I was reminded of Dinky when I saw someone’s pet terrier today. I think I’m going to pay her a visit soon.
