ParisBeaverbanks.com is One today. One month that is.
I’ll be honest. I started out going dot com because I was swept along by the wave of paid postings and the ready money I could make. So many gurus said “Eh, go dotcom la. Easier to get more opportunities that way because all these advertisers prefer dotcoms to free hosts.” So, blinded by the greenback and greed, I trooped off to get dotcom-ed.
Ah, but I did not bargain for what happened next.
You see, the main payer of my paid posts escapades was Payperpost. Their requirement is that your blog must be at least 3 months old before you can register with them. So, I would effectually have to write for 3 months about all things in general before I can submit my blog to them.
I thought “Ho hum… what can I dribble on about for 3 months before I start earning the big buckaroos?!”
The thing is, however, I’ve realised that I like my relatively paid-post free blog. I say “relatively” because I have and will slide in a paid post now and again to fuel the hosting and domain fund. But I’m actually starting to enjoy writing again, just for myself and whoever deigns to read my ramblings. I mused about something similar a while back when I’d just started. So, one month down and two more to go. Will this blog degenerate? Lets see eh? I hope not. I’ve become very fond of it the way it is.
For now, its just Carpe Diem! Enjoy it while it lasts ![]()

Dearie, you knew you were a writer from yonks before ya, so can’t see things degenerating on that front. Writers have their dry spells naturally, but I guess this blogging this is much more organic than writing fiction or whatever. And we are all little voyeurs kan, so just give us glimpses of your version of Life with Ally McBeal ..heehee.
Cheers!
Happy Full Moon! You’ve always been a writer, since you were teeny! - and I have to admit I’m addicted to your blog. Hehe.
