This song was a hit the year that The Bodyguard came out – the one with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston not the one with Jet Li. “I will Always Love You” hit the top 10 and no, I still don’t understand why anyone dedicates it as a love song. Have they actually thought through the words of the song properly? That aside, I prefer Dolly Parton’s country version.
