- in relation to the odd phone conversation I had
It’s been a crazy week topped off by a crazy Friday spent driving all over KL and Selangor from Damansara to Ampang to Subang Jaya and back again. I think my car clocked up more miles than a frequent flier.
Oh here’s another to round it off:
“JC told me that LSP delivered last week.”
“Oh! Was it a boy or a girl?”
“I don’t know I didn’t ask.”
What’s it with men that they don’t ask details like that? I mean its natural when someone tells you that a friend has delivered, that you ask if it was a boy or girl right? Well, I had to wait 2 days to find out that it was a baby boy. Left to my own devices, I’d have found out if it was a normal or ceaserian birth, how much he weighed and what his name was by the time the conversation was through.
So now, I’m trying to find a gift for the new mommy and baby. Ideas? I like giving gifts to the mommy too because I find people tend to focus so much on the new baby, showering it with presents, that they forget the mommy. I guess that tells you what I’d expect if I had a baby some day! LOL…

funny excerpts, even if they’re not meant to be that funny! doesn’t matter if it’s a baby boy or girl, it’s a baby, and deserves all the love and toys and neutral-coloured clothing! *grin*
PB says: Curious mah whether boy or girl… but I agree. All babies deserve the white stuff they are going to get anyway lol!

My favorite thing to buy for new babies are those cute rompers from Mothercare - looks good, presents well and is actually useful for baby. Maybe some pampering stuff for mommy?
