All this!
To be fair, the pile on the right belonged to my sis so I did not include it in my calculations.
So for RM120, I got:
- 1 pair of dark blue jeans
- 1 pair of black pants
- 1 pair of tweed looking pants
- 1 pair of khaki long bermuda shorts
- 1 pair of cropped grey pants
- 3 pairs of yoga/exercise pants
- 3 matching yoga/exercise sleeveless tops
- 1 white shirt
- 3Â collared polo T-shirts
- 5 v-neck t-shirts
These didn’t come from any chapalang pasar malam stall either but from Giordano. Usually RM120 would get me a pair of jeans at retail price so yes, this was, to say the least, a bargain.
Its the result of my annual visit to the Giordano warehouse sale that’s held about 2-3 times a year. Its about the only time I’ll buy their clothes and its the best time for me to renew my casual wardrobe. The sale this year must have been the best ever. RM5 for women’s T-shirts, RM10 for men’s and the best part? RM10 for all jeans and pants irregardless of male or female!
You must go early and battle crowds like this pulling and tugging away at the clothes in a hot airless room:
But hell! Its worth it! And even more so when you are a skinflint like I am! ParisB is a right happy camper!

I am a big Giordano Underwear fan, so I should have tupang you to get me 200 pairs of white briefs too! Wasted, the opportunity! *keksum*.. *throws tantrum*

PB says: Maybe coz most of the warehouses are here in the Klang Valley
but you do get some good sales in Penang. I don’t know why but every time I go to Penang, I end up buying lots of stuff which I never find anywhere else.

How do you know when Giordana is going to have warehouse sale? I don’t mind making a trip to KL/PJ as the T’s are my uniform.

Ya real good sale! Erm, just be a bit thick skinned about trying on jeans underneath your skirt and running the risk of flashing white undies at others!

argh, I’m missing out on all the really really cheap sales back home! imagine, RM120 for all that, I’d pay less than $50! *throws even bigger tantrum*
