my absolute favourites would be Liszt's Liebestraum (both piano and orchestra versions), and Vivaldi's 4 Seasons. all the classical pieces you mentioned brought back many memories of my childhood days when I learnt the piano. mmm, I think I'll put on a piece at home tonight... :)

PB says: do do! Its relaxing and inspiring!

I adore ice skating! Never heard of Torvill and Dean before today, but their performance was simply superb! 10 out of 10! Or rather, 6 out of 6!

PB says: Beautiful right? They so deserved their win

First time here. So, hi! You got your own style in terms of writing. I think you might be just another SOB. :)

Anyway, we (hubby and I) like to collect soundtracks. to me, all the music created specially for a movie, meaning soundtracks, when you listen careful, the music itself has its own storyline. That's where our imagination can run wild, and think of stuffs like, when we are successful, our sweet and romantic moments, our future lives and so on.......

PB says: Welcome! :) Soundtracks are fun. I used to buy them too. But I've since lost track lol...

You'll Never Walk Alone - with the glory of Liverpool FC and a certain night in May 2005 when I jumped around and went beserk and wept tears of joy (I'm predictable).

Ride of the Valkyries - Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd... in a cartoon where Bugs was dressed up as Brunhilda. Wonder if anyone else saw that one...

PB says: Aiyo! Bugs bunny pulak! What's up doc?

I remember that "I know you" song from Sleeping Beauty too! I used to *dance* to it as well! And I too am in love with classical music.... :)

And if that ain't enough, I used to play Fur Elise too...but I heard it once in a ghost movie, so I would associate Fur Elise with horror scenes :P

PB says: ooh *shivers* I hate horror movies. For me horror means Ring-a-Ring-a-Roses... *shudder*

Weeee!!!! I didn't know you also like classical. I like Autumn from the 4 Seasons. The violin movements are out of this world! Kudos to Vivaldi!

PB says: Winter is pretty nice too. Spring though lively and nice is a bit too overplayed for me

I remember Torville & Dean! But Bolero reminds me more of Dudley Moore & Bo Derek's 10! And The Ride of the Valkyries ~ Apocalypse Now!
But thanks for the video. It was nice to watch again that magic performance.

PB says: You remember them? But yes its abolutely magical isn't it?
