I haven’t done one of these for a while.

Thanks to my friend Cheesey Poo, I found a new shopping haven in a store called Wondermomo. Look out for a write up about it soon in my women site.

I maybe going whitewater rafting next weekend. Woohoo! I’ve never done it before but have always wanted to. So this should be interesting…. and wet. Has anyone been on this and if you have, what should I expect?

I have a crick in my neck. Its so bad I can barely turn my head. Its gotten a bit better, but I think it tells me its time for a good rejuvenating massage!

I don’t have Astro or any satellite channels. I don’t want to have to commit to more monthly fees for something I’m not sure I’ll be watching a lot of. However yesterday, I caught something on Star Movies that made me want to rethink my decision - The Sound of Music. I wasn’t watching until I heard the opening strains “The hills are alive with the sound of music…” I watched it till Maria was first introduced to Captain Von Trapp’s children then I had to tear myself away. Julie Andrews still enchants me in the role of Maria, and Christopher Plummer still attracts me in that Rex Harrison (My Fair Lady - Professor Higgins) sardonic craggy way. I haven’t watched it in ages, but I could almost recite the dialogue and hum along to the songs word for word. Nostalgic.

And on that musical note, I bid you “So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye!

White water rafting is good fun. Where you will be doing it? I did it at Taman Negara many years ago.

If you will be using tubes, quite a challenge to move along if the water is not fast, but if it’s too fast, heart can jump out, almost like those rides at the amusement park!

I love The Sound of Music too! The littlest von Trapp is the sweetest kid, yeah?

Domestic rat: I’ll be sure to write about it!

Pablo: Yay! Too bad no big screen will screen it.

Leah: Its supposed to be somewhere in Perak. And you got me at amusement parks. I’m a thrill seeker!

    Rinnah: She absolutely is! Adorable.

I can sing every word from the songs in The Sound of Music and more or less all the dialogue too. Let’s get some popcorn and watch together, yes?
I caught the theater performance at Istana Budaya a few years back too :)

I think you can expect to get wet. Hope that helps. :P

Hope the neck crick goes away. I get those a lot and do not wish them on anyone. Well maybe that jerk that cut me off on the way to work. But no one else.

I love the Sound of Music. We have that DVD in our collection. “Do a Deer…”
