Well, not really bec I was still in KL on Merdeka Day. Am now sitting in a warm kitchen in Liverpool and we’re laughing our eyes out reading about bagpipes during Malaysia’s 50th!

May: I didn't see the parade. I never do heh... Rinnah: I have no choice coz I have no Astro but I don't go near RTM. Giddy Tiger: I don't sing though. I just get entertained. Leah: I noticed that too - the bagpipes I mean. I'm not sure of the significance. But this was yesterday 4 Sept which was weird.

May: I saw that band at the Curve too! But not on Merdeka Day… it was the Sunday before that. Did you realize it’s our local army guys who are tooting those bagpipes?

I only watched 10 minutes of the last 1 hour of parade. then it was on to stuffing my face with sushi and lormaikai in the afternoon… lol!

and what does bagpipes have to do with Malaysia har? we saw a band of sorts wearing kilts and blowing their bagpipes too, at the Curve, on Merdeka day.
