WoW what World of Warcraft?

wow Quick! Quick! I need a crash course on World of Warcraft so I don’t make an utter fool of myself. Actually, I might already have. :P

I was never very good at computer games. The only video game I could play was Tetris. Even the cute little Super Mario game flummoxed me. My sis and brother would beat me at it every single time. BUT I’d beat them silly at Tetris so fair’s fair!

I was initiated into Magic: The Gathering once but I think the brain’s too small or something to understand what each card meant and what I was supposed to do once I actually had a card in hand. I fell asleep trying to play The Sims, I’m sorry to say. I just could not keep my sims sufficiently fed, rested and entertained and in the end, I gave up on them and on all computer games.

So someone’s offering to let me try World of Warcraft this time. I’m fascinated because the graphics look awesome and I like elves and fairies and fantasy type stuff. I enjoyed the Lord of the Rings in movie form so I’m thinking “Hey! It might just be like that.” Mayhap I get to play an elf! *flicks long blonde locks like Pantene commercial and loads up bow*

Time shall tell if I :

  1. Manage to get myself killed within 5 minutes or
  2. Find some hot shot super hero so I can be the trusty wise-cracking sidekick that doesn’t do much except keep said hero entertained. hehe…

AND YOU CAN IGNORE THE REST OF THIS ENTRY IF YOU WANT

Aside:

How is an arrow through the heart a romantic symbol? All it does is remind you of past hurts and future potential hurts.

And I think Cupid is really an awful creature because shooting an arrow through someone’s heart is not helping them any. It only makes them bleed and even when it heals, it leaves a scar. Over time, scars heal, but if the scab is peeled away then it starts to bleed again and I don’t think I’m able to forgive and forget all that easily. Just like time, we all move on, yes?

Forgive my cynicism if you are reading this. I hate it when the past rears it ugly head and brings back ugly memories.

*rinnah wants to challenge PB to a Tetris tournament* LOL! I’m the Tetris queen, myself! Huahahahaha…

Errrr… now that you put it that way… I think Cupid’s a sadist! *grin*

    LB: Yeah I know… but…

Rinnah: Hehe I haven’t played it in ages tho (excuses excuses) and yes Cupid is. sigh.

Tetris is the only game i am “quite” good at. Tetris was a nerdy game for nerds then .
It’s not easy to move on with cupid’s scars, learn to forgive but don’t hv to forget coz remembering it makes us wiser. :-)

I want in on the Tetris challenge too! Woot!
And as for WoW, I hear it is pretty addictive… I’ve only played Warcraft II and that also got me addicted.
By the way, here’s a gift for you!

Haha! U caved to the pull of WOW! Go look for that cute video of the “Internet is for PRON” by WOW characters, it’s so cute!

If u wanna play the new characters of Blood Elfs and some hoofy type peoples (they’re like Giant Reindeer with cuter hairstyles) gotta get the WOW upgrade version. Mostly I play the NightElf and the dwarves on the Alliance side (human allies) and the Undead on the Horde side [these are the two opposing sides lah]

U won’t get killed in 5 minutes if you play the non PVP servers. Thats player versus player where all players try to kill the opposite side players asses with no decency or compunction (its part of the fun). I play the cowardly Player versus Computer servers, where its safe.

Good luck, and make sure to make your characters dance, its so kelakar!

Leah: Thanks for the advice. :) And yes Tetris was so nerdy…

Giddy Tigers: Wah so many Tetris nerds here hehe… and thanks for the tag!

Oddie: Woot! Where have you been?! You lost me with all that WoW talk but I’ll make sure I catch up with you and you can then debrief me and show me the ropes oui? :D
