I was away last weekend cavorting through the Cat city of Kuching in Sarawak. Honestly, I don’t have much to report - ate my fill of Kolo Mee, tasted Tomato Kuey Teow, soaked up the hot hot Sarawak sun and shopped till I dropped. I rather went overboard with the pottery lamp purchases but I figured I wasn’t sure when I would be in Kuching again, so might as well buy, right? There are more stuff I wanted from there but did not think I could bring them back in without some form of import permit
So, here we have it - a picture collage of my whirlwind weekend trip.
Row 1 L-R: Close up of wall mural at Tua Pek Kong temple, Cats (what else), sunset on the waterfront
Row 2 L-R: Pottery lamp, lamp, Khatulistiwa restaurant
Row 3 :-R: My shopping, Tua Pek Kong temple x 2
And the many many things I ate:
Row 1 L-R: Crabs, Midin (type of fern), Kueh Chap
Row 2 L-R: Cappucino, Kolo Mee, Sarawak Laksa
Row 3 L-R: Tomato Kuey Teow (looking radioactive), Sarawak Laksa, Espresso
Food write ups will be over on the Pink Parisian so hop on over there to get your fill of pictures and reviews.
