Poisonous Twit

I don’t quite know what I ate yesterday from my first taste of organic food/organic cooking, to roast pork knuckles and beer but today, I woke up with a headache (no it wasn’t a hangover) and a nauseous feeling in the pit of my stomach.

The nausea got worse during the morning causing me to cancel dinner plans and just left me feeling all round awful. Fortunately, as the day wore on, I felt a tad better. Still, it made me wonder what caused it.

And that horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach also caused me to cancel plans for a dim sum buffet tomorrow. Made me feel quite bad about spoiling plans for that.

I’m going for Hairspray tomorrow! Hurrah! I haven’t seen a musical in ages so it should be fun. I’d not seen the stage musical but I’m sure nothing beats seeing John Travolta in drag!

And finally, my Streamyx connection at home is starting to resemble broadband instead of dial-up. I’m not quite sure what happened, but for once, the technical assist people at TMNet did something right. I suspect its the splitter device that allows you to use your phone and internet at one time. I was told to unplug it and connect straight into the wall socket and voila! fast(er) connection again! So, next time you have a problem of your Streamyx slowing down without reason, try removing the splitter. I don’t use a land line phone anyway, so it makes no difference to me.
