Its been a bit of a humdrum week but I’m so happy that its Friday again!
Friday means the weekend’s practically here!
But I’m also aware how quickly the days and weeks are flying by. Before we know it it’ll be Christmas and then the New Year and then its 2008. Time to take stock of where I am and where I want to head to. Sobering thought.
And on a related thought, I haven’t been to a T.G.I. Fridays in years! I remember they have a menu with food cooked with Jack Daniels whiskey… or was that a special promotion they were running? Yes. Its been too long since I last indulged in good ol’ wholesome, oversized portions of American BBQ and meats meats meats!

Slipping in a random thought:
Work hard enough to earn enough to live and enjoy life, but make sure you take time out to live and enjoy life. Take time to stop and smell the roses for roses fade quickly. You don’t want to regret never having smelt them.
That was essentially what I told a friend today. Life is not all about work and money. We need to keep our health and our sanity else we’ll never be able to enjoy the hard earned money. Agree?

I like TGIF! But I haven’t been there in yonks… Money isn’t everything, but it sure does make life a whole lot better! And I sure could do with less work. LOL!
