Remember I wrote in my TGIF Friday post below that its been donkey’s years since I’ve been to a Friday’s? Well, even after that post was written, I have still yet to step foot into a Friday’s. Not for want of trying, but mostly because I’ve been busy stepping out into other restaurants.
And why do I want to eat at Friday’s you ask? Well, the answer’s pretty simple:
- I haven’t been there in ages… years in fact, and I want to see if its still as good as I remember
- I remember that their vodka-lime was pretty good
- I’m a sucker for American sized portions (even if I can’t finish them) and I trust it could be better than Tony Roma’s which I had at CineLeisure and which was underwhelming.
- I want to have the Devilishly Good Menu – deep fried, cheesey, creamy, chocolatey goodness – yum! Do they give out those funky red Devil horns? I want!
- Because GiddyTiger makes their food look so good *drools*
I thought of hitting a Friday’s today to satisfy the urge (you know, its like an itch that really bugs you) but as luck would have it I’m indulging at a gourmet wine-pairing dinner instead! Wooh!
And thus ends another Friday edition of Paris Beaverbanks – have a good weekend all!

Friday’s is one of my favourite western food joints too. I like Chili’s but only because of their mash potato. Tony Roma’s here is fab, though! beats all those hands down!
