I was reading the Giddy Tigress’ plan of having a blue and silver christmas tree and then I came upon LB’s Christmas tree greetings and May’s Christmas mall decor. And I longed for my own little tree.
So, I went out and got one!
Mine is a little 5ft tree (although I really longed for a 6ft one!) and I opted for a red and gold theme, because I felt it fit with the warm earthy colours in my house. My other theme in mind was to be blue and silver, but I saved that for the office. So, there’s a lovely cool, wintry theme going on at the office, with blue and turquoise and silver balls and silver bells topping the tree, and for the home, I went for festive red and gold with lots of sparkly bits. There are little fairy lights but they don’t show up well in my pictures taken with my phone (I still cannot find my camera charger cable 
)
Now, does anyone want to contribute to the presents under my Christmas tree?

Oooh that reminds me, we still haven’t put up our tree yet. Mind you, we have a 6 footer, but it’s a real pain in the behind to set it up, cos it’s really heavy and tall (and putting them back into the box is an even bigger pain). I get scratches every year from putting the tree up
But after overloading the tree with decorations (we go nuts and overdo it :p), it’s such a sight to behold :p And then we’d complain to have to take it down after Christmas. Hehe!

Mine is a small little tree with simple ornaments. Haven’t put it up though Christmas is a little over 10 days away
