Ooh boy! I never thought I’d see the day but its refreshing that someone in the Government of the day is standing up to the abuse of the ISA (Internal Security Act) used on the 3 detainees last Friday. Zaid Ibrahim the de facto law minister has purportedly submitted his resignation letter to the PM. Let’s see how things develop from here.
I knew throwing that reporter into jail under the ISA was a bad idea. Wonder who dreamt it up and left the perpetrator to roam the country “explaining” himself to the grassroots? That person must have been sleeping or a dozy or both.
I’m not exactly Ms. Chirpy myself today. I’m still feeling the after effects of getting home at 4am on Saturday. I tell you, nothing else tells your age better than whether you can survive a late night out on the town! In my case, I feel about 80.
