Before its too late

by ParisB on October 3, 2008

I saw a sight this morning that I would prefer not to have seen.

A man on a motorcycle appeared without warning from a side road right into the path of my car. Fortunately I was going slow. He did not even stop to look at traffic or to see who might have nearly knocked him down. I later noticed that he had a little child sitting in front of him without a helmet.

At the traffic light, again without stopping to look left or right he ran the red light into the path of oncoming traffic.

If he did not treasure his own life, at least think of the little boy sitting in front of him.

Some people don’t deserve to be parents.

How sad yet true! It’s an all too common sight on Malaysian roads though… :(

You know what? If there was an accident, you will probably be the party at fault even though it was the motorcyclist who didn’t obey traffic rules!

I totally agree with Adino. And add to that the trauma of being in an accident.

@rinnah:Yes but its sick.

Adino: And that truly sucks but its true. We are always told to watch out for motorcyclists but they don’t watch out for themselves!

LB: Yup so lucky me I was driving slow ;)
