Almost..
The bridezilla of the family threw her dinner reception that has kept the rest of the family highly strung and on our toes the whole time. Finally, it was over and yes, it was a lovely wedding reception - not too large, not terribly noisy, cozy lighting and warm wood of the Banker’s Club… It was beautiful.

Playing maid of honor was a terrible task because I was asked to walk down the treacherous steps, praying all the way I wouldn’t trip and fall and cause a scene. Also, for some strange reason people thought I was her and kept waving at me o_O
When the guests had left except Beetrice and Rinnah who kindly graced us with their presence (thank you girls! You both looked lovely and it was lovely of you to come in the jam and rain and all…), we decided that the bride had to do the bridal toss to us singletons!
Unfortunately, she must have been weak with hunger
because it was less of a toss than a flick which had us girls clamouring after the bouquet on the floor. Close tie between Beetrice and me though hehe… If this is a sign I’m the next to get hitched, I’d better jolly well find a candidate and soon! Haha… Bee and Rinnah, are we up to our reality show plan?!
Anyway, look who decided to gate crash the party:-

A little caterpillar! On the bridal bouquet!! :O
The little fella must have been sleeping deep inside one of the red roses and gotten dislodged when the bouquet fell on the floor so he creeped out to see what was happening. Squeals of horror aside, bloggers immediately whipped out their cameras big and small, to try to snap the little gatecrasher. This was the best shot I got coz he wouldn’t stop wriggling.
I got home late and slept in the next day. I don’t know if I can handle another 2 rounds of this that is upcoming!

You can’t buy love.
But Pahang sure will try.(source)
State Information, Science, Technology and Innovation Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin said the bloggers, who would be given an allowance, would be supplied with computers and Internet access in their homes.
Now, tell me if this is not a form of being paid to blog? These pensioners are being paid to write only positive things, positive reviews about Pahang and to “counter slanderous comments and allegations posted on the Internet”.
Why only hire 3? Why not hire more? Where’s the sign up page? How often do they get paid? Are they blogging from some blogspot blog or their own domain? Why didn’t the newspaper disclose the blogs so we can all go ogle at these paid to blog bloggers? How much are they getting paid?
Google, are you reading this? Are you going to hunt down these blogs and smack their PR silly? Then maybe you’ll leave me poor lil’ blogs alone and return me some PR?
Please?

Today, when I logged into my Gmail account, I was surprised to see it looking slightly different. There was also a prompt telling me that I could change my theme for Gmail if I wanted, so I experimented.
The Gmail theme changer is located under Gmail -> Settings -> Themes and looks something like this:

Basically what it does is allow you to customize Gmail so your Gmail interface looks different from everyone elses. I experiemented with most of them from the different colour combinations to the pictures at the bottom.
At the end of the day, what did I settle for?
Classic! LOL….
I guess I’m just resistent to change and it was the most pleasing to my eye. Also, they say Classic never goes out of style yes?
So, what is your Gmail theme?

I pretty much feel like that tree under the weight of snow.
Work has been crazy. In fact, crazy doesn’t begin to describe it. Its like so crazy its beyond crazy.
Speaking of plants, you know how gardeners trim off deadwood and pick off parasites so the plant will grow healthy and strong? Well, building a new company is like that. And we have finally picked up the gumption to pick off the parasites, douse them with insecticide and trim off deadwood.
Hopefully after this, new shoots will sprout.

Tell this chocolate hater 2 years ago that I’d meet a new friend over chocolate and I’d have laughed in your face.
Life loves a joke, so I did meet Beetrice the first time over a ball of Terry’s Chocolate Orange!
Happy Birthday Beetrice! Here’s hoping you have a fab day!
