Are you using Gmail Themes?

by ParisB on November 20, 2008

Today, when I logged into my Gmail account, I was surprised to see it looking slightly different. There was also a prompt telling me that I could change my theme for Gmail if I wanted, so I experimented.

The Gmail theme changer is located under Gmail -> Settings -> Themes and looks something like this:

Gmail themes

Basically what it does is allow you to customize Gmail so your Gmail interface looks different from everyone elses. I experiemented with most of them from the different colour combinations to the pictures at the bottom.

At the end of the day, what did I settle for?

Classic! LOL….

I guess I’m just resistent to change and it was the most pleasing to my eye. Also, they say Classic never goes out of style yes? ;) So, what is your Gmail theme?

The themes aren’t up on my email yet. Shucks.

I don’t have the themes option yet, looks like it is being implemented in stages. I think I would stick with classic too!

I already have that option yesterday after reading about it on another blog.

I’m using the “Tree” theme ATM – which changes according to your location – and there’s a difference.
