The deed is done!

After 3 days of being highly-strung, on tetherhooks and being stressed out over little details on many things, the family wedding is finally over! Signed sealed and this time, officially delivered!! BYEEEE!!! LOL…

Unfortunately, I was a bad blogger this time.

I did not take a single photo of the proceedings, can you believe it?! For some reason, the camera was in my bag, but not once did it see the light of day. Oh actually it did, when the roast pig arrived on our doorstep for the “lap chai” but I’ve been too lazy to upload and resize and deal with photos altogether.

Edit: Ok I lie, here’s one picture LOL…

Being narcissistic, may I say how pleased I am with the official wedding photographer? When it was announced that they were playing a photo montage of the morning events when the groom came to pick the bride, I panicked. Being vain ( :P ) I told my cousin “Eh! He didn’t even get my ok before putting my photos up!!”

But my worry was unwarranted because he made me look like a meeellion bucks! So the photographer gets both thumbs up from me! :D I’m waiting to see the rest of the photos to see if I look like a meellion bucks in all of them and if I do, I’m going to commission them all! ROFLOL….

This being the first wedding in the family, it was quite stressful for us all. But it was quite good fun at the end of the day because our relatives came in from all over the world and it was great fun meeting cousins I haven’t seen in years! I think that was the part I enjoyed the most – gossiping, laughing and all round having a wonderful time catching up.

This being the first wedding, I’ve also learnt 1 thing – I’m having a small small do. Small small only. Somewhere remote in the hills or on the beach somewhere, with family and close friends only. No big banquet although my mom said “Yes small do can…. then have the dinner later” :P But its going to be a while until a suitable candidate comes along so I’ll have lots of time to plan my “small do”. If anyone sees me planning a gigantic white wedding with frills and flounces, remind me that I wanted a “small small do” ok? :P

Now, to go on a diet from all the rich food I’ve been indulging in the past few days!

That grille looks familiar! LOL

Awww… am so happy, not just for PE and J, but for the whole family. Hope I get to see some photies when I get back to KL.

I shall go ask PE if we can expect to hear the pitter-patter of little PE/J Jr soon… teeheehee… I’ve offered her to try out Little Monkey for a parenthood test drive of sorts.

That must have been a splendid wedding, judging by your words, and not-enough-pictures! :)
