Every morning for the past 2 weeks, I’ve found myself caught in a horrid traffic jam where there previously was none. From where I live to where I work is a mere 10 minute drive on most days. Its always a smooth drive.
Until these 2 weeks when I crawl along in the mornings.
Why?
Because of bloody effing DBKL that’s why!
I don’t know what the buggers are doing, but at 8.30am-9am, at the PEAK of morning office hour traffic, DBKL’s bloody trucks are blocking one lane of the highway because they are lobbing off the plants along the highway.
“Kerja-kerja Landskap” konon! I don’t see how cutting off the whole bush, flowers branches leaves et al is landscaping!
Why, pray tell me WHY for the love of God can’t they do it at low traffic periods or at night when traffic is minimal? Why do they have to clog up the already clogged up roads to cut off plants (I don’t understand why they are doing this either!) and why do they have to take so bloody long to finish the job?!
Its been going on for 2 weeks. 2 weeks to clear a stretch of highway of about 1-2km+ of bushes. Are they beign paid by the day or what?!
Sheesh…
