If your memory of Johhny Depp stems from Captain Jack Sparrow of Pirates of Caribbean fame, you are way too young to remember 21 Jump Street – the cult tv series that shot Johnny Depp to fame and immortalized him forever as a teen idol.
I still remember my friends oohing and aahing over his floppy hair and high cheekbones and I remember the huge pullouts in Galaxie magazine. Personally I was never into Johnny Depp but I was more about Dustin Nguyen or maybe the character of Harry Truman Ioki. Maybe it was the name that contrasted with the clearly Vietnamese/Asian regulatory actor.
If you want a trip down memory lane, tune into 21 Jump Street on 8tv on Saturday nights. Me? I can’t wait.
I’m serious! What better way to relive my youth, 80’s big hair and loud fashion and corny one liners in a teen cop show?!

oh gosh, my memory must be going…I remember the name of the show and that I used to love it – but as far as the actors go I’m so blank…*oh the shame*
