9th day of Chinese New Year and already the yoke of the Ox is dragging me down.
There’s a sore throat tickling away at the back of my throat which I’m trying hard to kill.
I had a bad night and spent much of the night listening to and watching the fireworks that lit up the sky. I swear every Chinese in KL saved their contraband fireworks and crackers for last night, the 8th night of the Chinese New Year when Hokkiens (and increasingly other dialect groups) Pai Thi Kong or pray to the Jade Emperor. I reckon they figured they’d better go direct to the big man rather than have the God of Wealth or Choy San intercede on their behalf
I see something I dislike on the internet to which I take offence to but what the hey! Its a free world eh? Just remember that karma bcan e a bitch ok?
On a happy note, I was dead pleased with Beetrice’s choice of restaurant for our first ever blogger loh sang party. It was fun and I want to have those delicious salt egg prawns again – they are so huge one prawn will fill a plate. I kid you not! I’ll demonstrate once my camera battery charges up and I feel up to dealing with pictures.
At the moment, I’m not feeling overly friendly on the internet
Happy day
