You don't text. So it wouldn't be fair to expect a quick reply because who knows, you might be busy and all. I know of tight-arsed people who text and expect an immediate (in 30 mins) reply. And when I don't reply asap, I get my head chewed off. When asked how come you didn't call me instead, if it was that important to you to know my answer immediately? "Oh, phone call expensive lah. SMS cheaper". So for working day hours, I believe it's more than reasonable to reply within that time. Let’s put it this way, if it’s urgent, you call. You don’t text. So it wouldn’t be fair to expect a quick reply because who knows, you might be busy and all.
