Six Degrees of Separation – TRUE!

I’d heard a lot about the Six Degrees of Separation.You can read about this theory here.

Essentially this is what it entails:-

Six degrees of Separation (also referred to as the “Human Web”) refers to the idea that, if a person is one step away from each person they know and two steps away from each person who is known by one of the people they know, then everyone is at most six steps away from any other person on Earth

I used to scoff at this theory.

“Pish!” I’d say with a sneer. “Where got such thing?! Never happened to me also!”

But you know what they say – never speak too soon.

Because I just had such a moment yesterday in the middle of the night no less.

While chatting online over nothing, Beetrice and I discovered that we were just 3 steps away from each other – figuratively speaking. An old family friend of theirs turned out to be my uncle and aunt!! :O

It was a surreal moment indeed.
