Call me selfish – go on!
But its my blog and I refuse to be told what I should do or insert or promote. Yes its visible and yes I know you want to leverage on it. I also know all you want is to get a freebie.
But its MY blog and I worked HARD for it to get where it is so thankyouverymuch but I’ll decide what I want to do when I want to do it and how I want to do it.
Don’t you think its rude for people to TELL you that you SHOULD put up a gadget that will effectively allow you to be spammed? Or that you SHOULD giveaway freebies that come out of your own pocket and your own time? Excuse me, are you paying for my bandwidth? No you aren’t so don’t tell me what I should do.
I don’t know. Its just so disillusioning to see how demanding people can be or just how plain ungrateful they can be. Heck I guess I should be immune to it by now… or just plain naive 
Oh and don’t tell me it comes with the territory – I KNOW it comes with the territory but I’m allowed to rant innit?
On another note, I don’t know who’s not doing their job if you can’t get me some basic information which should be easily obtained and given out – fault of the agency or client? All I asked was for prices which about 3 weeks later, I’m to hunt it down for it myself.
Wahliao-eh where got like that one! Takkan company don’t have price list of products? How to sell things like that? Sorry lah, if its the company’s fault then they are lamer than a one legged duck. If its the agency’s fault for not asking (even though my request went in more than 2 weeks ago – and I never got a response) and then blaming it on the company, that’s even lamer – lamer than a no legged duck! I’m not original
And on a third note – I’m SO HAPPY AND RELIEVED that I didn’t attend a certain event. I was not about to compromise on my blog content AND I’m not quite as star struck as I thought I would be. I think with age comes a little wisdom. With age also comes that piece of stone that can cost a fortune but has no intrinsic value – jade. I think I’m just a little jaded by certain people and certain things. I’m glad some friends agree with me.
So yes. Selfish? Maybe. Stupid? No.
I must have a disclaimer here. I’ve dealt in the main with people who are nothing short of wonderful generous and helpful. I’m always very happy dealing with them and I believe we have a mutual understanding and professional relationship that works.
However the 1 or 2 bad apples can spoil the whole barrel so I think it might be time to throw out those bad apples don’t you think? Are you sensitive? Siapa makan cili dialah terasa pedasnya. Nah makanlah cili! Cili padi lagi pedas
