I missed the last couple of weeks’ photo hunt but I’m back this week where the theme of the week is Colorful!
I have the perfect pictures, taken during my last trip back to my little hometown. Little hometowns have the best photo opps. I kid you not! Look at these COLOURFUL pictures!

This is a scene in my hometown. The municipal council directed that all the shop fronts be painted different colours according to the streets they front. This corner shop has the dubious honour of fronting 2 streets hence the two toned colours. I also took more colourful shots after the jump!

I missed last week’s PhotoHunt but I’m back for this week’s theme “What is that?”

What is THAT?
Is it edible?
Is it an animal fruit or vegetable?
Go and find out at the Pink Parisian!
Happy Photo Hunting everyone!
p/s I will be out of town and slow in approving and replying to comments but have fun all the same.
July 5th, 2008 — Photo Hunt

Photo hunting time again! And this week’s theme is “Pointed”. I cracked my head a little bit over this one, not wanting to go for very conventional ideas and here is my entry for the hunt.

I caught my sister’s pre-wedding photographer with his huge professional camera “pointed” at the happy couple. I thought this would be the perfect entry for this category!
2 more conventional pictures are below:-

Sansevieria trifasciata or commonly known as “Mother-in-law’s Tongue” because of its sharp pointed leaves.

A signpost showing places of interest within walking distance from Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur. Honestly? Not everything stated there is within walking distance. Some are really far away! But if you keep walking long enough, you’d get there.
Happy hunting and happy weekend everyone!
June 28th, 2008 — Photo Hunt
I’d been reading about the Photo Hunt for a while now, but never participated because I did not have a proper camera. I thought it might be fun to participate, to practice my photo taking skills, so here’s my virgin entry for this week’s theme which is “Bright”.

“Bright” here refers to the brightly coloured trishaws that ply the streets of Melaka or Malacca. They used to be a common mode of public transportation but is now mostly a tourist attraction. A 1 hour ride costs RM40 (US$12.26) which is pricey but its one of those things I guess a tourist must do in Melaka!
You know the good thing about these trishaws? They are run on man power and thus are not affected by the fuel hike…
